Job Description: Desktop Support Specialist
Location: Melville, NY
Summary:
• Basic knowledge of client applications and technical troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to function with minimal direction in completing the responsibilities of the position.
• Excellent phone manner and professionalism.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external contacts; Superior verbalcommunication skills; Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Good written and verbal communications as well as analytical, design, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task various and conflicting responsibilities.
• Experience maintaining service level agreements.
• Good organizational skills.
Experience Needed:
• 2- 3 years of Help Desk related experience.
Educational Background Required:
• BA /BS, Technical School or related job experience preferred.
• IT Certifications or Training a plus.
